Founder

As a founder, my inspiration came from recognizing that students encounter unique challenges during their formative years. I strongly believe they deserve a nurturing environment that supports their overall development, helps them discover and refine their talents and guides them through life’s complexities with confidence and resilience.

At Rising Star Hostel, we consider ourselves the second parent of your child committed to providing not just accommodation, but care, guidance, discipline and emotional support just like a family would.

With this vision, Rising Star Hostel was established driven by a clear mission to promote the holistic growth, character building and well-being of every child entrusted to our care.

It is with immense pride and pleasure that I address you as the Director of Rising Star Hostels. When I began this journey, my vision was to create a warm, nurturing and secure environment that truly feels like a home away from home for every child.

My goal has always been to provide more than just accommodation  to build a supportive space where young minds are encouraged to grow academically, develop strong values, build meaningful friendships, and gain the confidence to succeed in all aspects of life.

At Rising Star Hostel, our mission is to create a safe, caring, and positive environment where every boy feels at home. We are dedicated to supporting their overall growth — academically, socially, emotionally, and personally.

A home that inspires excellence. We believe a happy student is a successful student. Rising Star is a safe haven where boys feel seen and supported. From late-night study sessions to building life skills, we walk alongside our residents every step of the way. Our mission is simple: to provide the care of a family and the discipline of a mentor, helping every boy become his best self.

Our Story

When Avani Sheth’s son Shrey started high school, she knew it was time to start planning for his higher education. Apart from shortlisting colleges, one of the key aspects of higher studies is of course moving out to a different city and perhaps country.

Being a mother, it was thought that gave her sleepless nights.
Where would he stay?
What would he eat?
What if there was a medical emergency?

These were just some of the questions she was faced with. Coming from a joint family, and with her nephews Parth and Manthan already pursuing higher studies in different cities, she was well-versed with the challenges of student life and was ready to offer a solution.

Together with her husband, Samir Sheth, she founded Rising Star in the heart of Juhu. More than a luxury hostel, it is a high-standard sanctuary built on a mother’s attention to detail. From gourmet nutrition to 24/7 security and medical care, Rising Star is our way of ensuring that while your child follows their dreams, they are never truly away from home.
